“Sir Jeffrey Amherst noted for his deliberate use of smallpox-infected blankets as a weapon against Indians. Amherst and his British lieutenants were a marked change from the French commanders at the forts throughout the Old Northwest and Canada. He made no effort to build goodwill with Indian peoples. He had no respect for Indian leaders, treated them contemptuously, and frequently described them as ‘wretched people’. He put an immediate end to the traditional French practice of giving Indians ball and powder when they ran short; he also prohibited emergency provisions if game was scarce, and clothing or gifts of goodwill. Lord Amherst (for whom Amherst College is named) initiated a genocidal new policy: ‘Could it not be contrived’ he wrote to one of his officers, ‘to send the smallpox among the disaffected tribes of Indians? We must on this occasion use every strategem in our power to reduce them’. Blankets were taken from the crest of the Appalachian Mountains. Delaware Indians attacking Fort Pitt (formerly Fort Duquesne, now Pittsburg) were presented with ‘gifts’ of blankets taken from the smallpox ward of the fort’s hospital. It started an epidemic that would rage through the Delaware villages and Shawnee towns of Ohio, decimating their populations. Still, by the end of 1763, eight out of 12 British posts had been captured and their garrisons ‘massacred’… Pontiac’s War became a major topic of debate in Britain. Introduction
Indians and real [non-Zionist] Jews, just as Indians and Palestinians, are natural allies. But Indians and Zionists have as much in common as Indians and the historical and present-day Settlers of the Americas who were/are bent on the forcible removal, extermination and/or forced assimilation of all Indians; that which also parallels the past and present-day Zionist Settlers in Israel that clearly have the same intentions with respect to Palestinians.
As various Indigenous realities and struggles increasingly appear as just and imperative for any chance of survival as Peoples, because of the historical and present-day realities of genocide and international law that cannot be ignored or covered-up any longer, all sorts of nefarious forces, with nefarious intentions. hiding behind masks and offering “sugar-coated bullets”, are surfacing and trying to attach themselves with, and gain some kind of legitimacy through, some elements among Indigenous Nations and remnants of Nations in the Americas.
Certain elements from the Taiwan “independence” forces have been attempting to forge “sports” and “cultural” exchanges between certain First Nations “Traditional” Indians in Canada and the U.S., suggesting that the present-day people of Taiwan are “Indigenous” and with the same rights under international law: to independence; self-determination; sovereignty; non-interference in internal affairs; UN membership as nation-states; to return to “traditional governments” as do the First Nations Peoples in Canada and the U.S. They argue that “facts on the ground and international law parallel, in the case Taiwan, the respective cases of and for First Nations in the Americas that are being made by Traditional Indians opposing genocide in the Americas as well as serial breaches of Treaties and Treaty rights and other threats to the continued existence of Indigenous people as Peoples. There are also overtures being made to certain First Nations by elements favoring “independence” of Tibet.
Of course the historical reality is that the true Indigenous Peoples of Taiwan were systematically exterminated in the early 1900s by the Japanese and later between 1945 and 49 by the Kuomintang on Taiwan the predecessors of some of the the present-day right-wing elements trying to promote Taiwan “independence” and “sovereignty”.

And anyone with even a slight awareness of how Natives in Canada were dispossessed and abused by colonial settlers can easily see the parallel between Canada’s Natives and the Palestinians, who have suffered a century of identical treatment by Jews [Zionists]
This month, Canada’s media solemnly related “the sad truth that the country engaged in a deliberate policy of attempted genocide against First Nations people”, referring to government-sponsored abuse of Native children a century ago, which Canada’s Chief Medical Officer Peter Bryce exposed in 1907, but which was hushed up.
Bryce was fired and the post of chief medical officer abolished in 1919.
This, of course, is a terrible crime, though the facts have long been known (the study referred to was published in 2006). A study published by Ian Mosby in May this year added fuel to the fire, revealing that from 1942-1952, the government conducted “nutritional experiments” on Native children in the infamous residential schools, where milk rations were halved for years, essential vitamins not issued, and dental services withheld as gum health was a measuring tool for scientists and any care would distort research.
The media splash was made by Phil Fontaine, former chief of the Assembly of First Nations, and Bernie Farber, senior vice-president of Gemini Power Corporation and former head of the Canadian Jewish Congress (since 2011 the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs-CIJA).
This is not the first time that CIJA has expressed ‘support’ for beleaguered Natives. For years now, just as hundreds of Canadian MPs, MPPs, police officials, what-have-you are invited regularly on junkets to Israel by CIJA or other pro-Israeli groups, CIJA self-proclaimed “social activists” are now courting local Native groups with similar free trips. For instance, Winnipeg CIJA official Shelley Faintuch organized a 10-day Cree Youth Leadership Development Mission to Israel in 2012 and again this year with the support Norway House Cree Nation Chief Ron Evans “to develop the next generation of First Nations leaders by looking through the lens of Israel’s inspiring story.”
Why would Canadian Jewish [Zionist] leaders suddenly take such an interest in Natives and support their struggle for reparations from the Canadian government for the centuries of colonial subjugation and exploitation? Is it altruism, because of the Jewish tradition of being ‘a light unto peoples’? This is what CIJA would have us believe, with its claims to “profound cultural and historical similarities”, “striving for acceptance, equal rights, rights to their own land”.
There is another, very different explanation. The Native resistance movement has continued to grow in the past half century. And anyone with even a slight awareness of how Natives in Canada were dispossessed and abused by colonial settlers can easily see the parallel between Canada’s Natives and the Palestinians, who have suffered a century of identical treatment by Jews immigrating to Palestine, which the latter arbitrarily renamed ‘Israel’ in 1948. As Natives become more aware of their common struggle with other aboriginal peoples around the world, they are bound to identify with the Palestinians and their struggle against the colonial settlers.
So it makes perfect sense for Canada’s Zionists to be proactive, to try to convince Canada’s Natives that it is the (largely European and American) Jews who are indigenous to Palestine, not the native Arabs. The story the Cree are told on their Youth Leadership Development Missions is that Israelis, like the Natives, are merely trying to reassert their legitimate indigenous rights to their land. The screaming headlines about the Canadian government “genocide” against the Natives a century ago just happen to be accompanied by self-serving lectures about the Nazi Holocaust, the ‘Final Solution’, and even allusions to the infamous Dr Mengele experimenting on Jewish victims.
This shameful manipulation of events surrounding a genuine Native tragedy is despicable. It is also a direct slap in the face for Prime Minister Harper with his fawning allegiance to Israel, as codified by one of his first foreign relations moves-the public security cooperation “partnership” with Israel signed in 2008. Does Farber have no allegiance to Canada’s prime minister? Isn’t his sudden embrace of Native resistance just a tad duplicitous?
Gemini Power’s VP is not only a corporate fat cat, but a self-proclaimed “social activist” who according to Wikipedia “works in partnership with First Nations to help develop sustainable business”. This translates into: convince the Natives to sell out to resource-hungry corporations like Gemini Power and their government lackeys, intent on building such wonders as liquefied natural gas terminals on the west coast, chromite mining and smelting projects in the James Bay, and tar sands oil production in Alberta.
Is it possible that before Farber published his article in the Toronto Star 19 July, he had a pow wow with Chief Harper, apologizing for the comparison of Canadian government officials to Nazi genocidal maniacs, but explaining that it was all part of a larger win-win plan for them both to defraud the hapless Natives of their resources? What are a few ‘slings and arrows’ between a corporate honcho and his government lackey?
Harper can use all the help he can muster these days, given that the bulk of the Native community is supporting not Israel, but Idle No More, which has declared war on the Conservatives’ attempt to replace the government’s treaty obligations with market mechanisms in Bills C-45 and C-38.
Farber failed to mention the fact that Israel itself conducted similar ‘Dr Mengele’ experiments on its own Jewish citizens-north African and Ethiopian Jews, who swallowed the Zionist propaganda and fled their traditional homes and cultures to live in the ‘Jewish state’. According to the documentary “100,000 Radiation” shown on Israeli TV in 2003, starting in 1951, the American army paid the Israeli Health Ministry to radiate children to test for side effects of radiation. An entire generation of Sephardi youths were unwittingly used as guinea pigs.
Yet another Israeli TV documentary aired in 2012 revealed that until recently, Ethiopian Jews were forcibly injected with Depo-Provera, a drug to make them sterile, before they were allowed to immigrate to Israel.
Is Zionist media control so all-powerful as to prevent Canadians and especially Canadian Natives from seeing through the bald-faced lies that Israel and its lobbyist tell, and the truths they hide?
It isn’t just Harper who is being duped. Cree Chief Ron Evans personally suffered under the ‘Dr Mengele’ experiments, which were conducted on the Norway House and Le Pas Cree beginning in 1942. But instead of putting two and two together, Evans was coopted by CIJA’s Winnipeg affiliate to sponsor the Cree ‘Missions to Israel’, where he pronounced the Jewish people “the true, historic indigenous people of Israel”.
Then there are the Ontario Natives with their ‘great white hope’ Bob Rae, a strong supporter of Israel whose wife was a VP of the CJC. Rae left the NDP in 2002 for refusing to embrace globalization and open markets, and is now the Natives’ negotiator with the mining interests in the James Bay ‘ring of fire’. However nice elder statesman Rae may be, his common interests-economic and political-with Farber remain, and there can be no doubt that at best the Natives will get lots of millions of dollars, but you can be sure that the option of “No to chromite mining!” is not on the table.
Clearly, the Natives need a new deal with corporate Canada. That is what Idle No More is all about. But the option of “No!” must be on the table, not just “How much money will we get to let the corporations destroy our land?”
There are hints of what a new dispensation might entail, and the suddenly pro-Native Zionist supporters like Farber and Rae have nothing to contribute to it. The 1987 Gwaii Haanas National Park and Haida Heritage Site allows Haida to regulate logging and maintain their sacred forests, permitting sustainable use of some natural resources. Thomas Berger calls for re-tribalization of lands: “As long as the land is a corporate asset, it will be vulnerable.”

What makes a nation a nation, what makes a People “Indigenous” are a matter of facts on the ground and international law. Otherwise, as has been done so often in history, one nation or nation-state can simply refuse to recognize another, ostracize and demonize the targeted nation in the global community, and literally define it out of existence and the international recognition to which it is entitled as a matter of facts on the ground and international law. From a document from the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs:
“Set the blood quantum at one-quarter, hold to it as a rigid definition of Indians, let intermarriage proceed, and eventually Indians will be defined out of existence. When that happens, the federal government will be finally freed from its persistent Indian problem.”
Adolf Eichmann could have written that. And in fact, what was even as or more evil than Hitler, or the likes of Eichmann, is that which they themselves said “inspired” them [that which not even they could imagine on their own] and their own genocides (potential scopes, depths, methods, cover-up, methods to garner mass acceptance of and participation in, legal covers, euphemisms, etc):
“Hitler did not approach the problem of extermination of the Jews haphazardly. He had carefully studied some of the most prominent examples of mass murder in history. His four principal inspirations were the slaughter of the American Indians, killing of Armenians by the Turks, the Red Terror during the Communist Revolution in Russia, and Japanese butchery in Nanking in 1937…. Always contemptuous of the Russians, Hitler said ‘for them the word liberty means the right to wash only on feast days. If we arrive bringing soft soap we’ll attain no sympathy. There’s only one duty: to Germanize this country by the immigration of Germans and to look upon the natives as Redskins.’
Having been a devoted reader of Karl May’s (sp?) books on the American West as a youth, Hitler frequently referred to the Russians as ‘Redskins.’ He saw a parallel between his effort to conquer and colonize land in Russia with the conquest of the American West by the white man and the subjugation of Indians or Redskins. ‘I don’t see why,’ he said, ‘a German who eats a piece of bread should torment himself with the idea that the soil that produces this bread has been won by the sword. He was very interested in the way the Indian population had rapidly declined due to epidemics and starvation when the United States government forced them to live on the reservations. He thought the American government’s forced migrations of the Indians over great distances to barren reservation land was a deliberate policy of extermination. Just how much Hitler took from the American example of the destruction of the Indian nations his hard to say; however, frightening parallels can be drawn. For some time Hitler considered deporting the Jews to a large ‘reservation’ in the Lubin area where their numbers would be reduced through starvation and disease.” ( James Pool op cit. p. 273-274).

“I consider that in dealing with members of a foreign country, especially some Slav nationality…in such a mixture of peoples there will always be some racially good types. The term “Redskins” came from the time of Andrew Jackson when Indians would be literally skinned and their skins hung-up bloody to dry to be used as chaps, reins, covers for Bibles and for European tourists who wanted to go back home and show they had had the “Real Wild West” experience. This was carried on by the Nazis who, like the soldiers of the time of Andrew Jackson, prized skins with tattoos.
Just the fact that the Nazi genocides against Jews, Sinti-Roma, Slavs, disabled people and other targeted groups, each targeted as members of those groups, was “inspired” by the ongoing American and Canadian Holocausts against Indians, should be enough to make Indians and Jews natural allies. Even the stages of the respective Holocausts are the same: First “SOLUTION”: Expropriation of property and forced exile; Second “SOLUTION”: Ghettos and slow extermination through deadly living conditions and work; FINAL SOLUTION: outright “Evacuation” a euphemism for mass extermination:

“Christian” Zionists
Not all Jews are Zionists and not all Zionists are Jews. Christopher Columbus, the Pilgrims and many other types were Zionists in the sense of Zionism: support for a movement for the “return” of Jews to Zion (originally envisioned as in parts of Argentina Uganda and later in Madagascar before Palestine). Why would Christian Zionists, many of whom were/are hard-core anti-Semites and allied with anti-Semitic political forces support the “return” of Jews to Palestine and the building of a “Jewish State”? From their interpretation of Revelations in the New Testament that the gathering of Jews in Zion is one of the preconditions to the return of Jesus, Rapture and the final Armageddon and apocalypse which religious Jews are also waiting for. What do the Christian Zionists say will happen to Jews who do not convert to Christianity prior to “Rapture”? They are all supposedly doomed to hell. Politics can make strange bed-fellows.
Christianity started as an Apocalyptic cult within Judaism as have many religions. And what they also have in common is that they all thought they would see the “End Times” in their own lifetimes even as their own holy books said that no human mortal will ever know or be able to predict when the “End Times” will come. But they all were/are clearly waiting eagerly for the “return” or “coming” of “the Messiah” with all those not of their faith or sects of their faith doomed to hell or some other unspecified ends.

The debate over whether or not the word “genocide” should be used to describe the federal government’s treatment of aboriginal people is heating up in Winnipeg.
The yet-to-open Canadian Museum for Human Rights is embroiled in a controversy over how they will represent Canada’s past treatment of aboriginal people.
Fred Kelly is a residential school survivor and is among a group of First Nations people who believe the residential school system and other similar atrocities should be referred to as genocide.
“These [events] did happen, and the other five genocides that are recognized by Canada and the international community did happen, and the residential school history, the history of our people did happen — that’s a fact,” he said. “We can go on and on reciting the litany of atrocities that took place that constitute the categories of genocide.”
Kelly survived the residential school system and nutritional experiments conducted on aboriginal people without their knowledge in the 1940s and 1950s in Canada.
“That is genocide. That was an attempt at extermination based on hatred, based on racism, based on all of these negative factors that human beings exercise on other human beings,” said Kelly.
But the Canadian Museum for Human Rights says it’s not in a position to determine what constitutes a genocide and it doesn’t plan to use the term to title the exhibit.
“We are not a court. We are not an academic institution. We rely on those sources for information to inform our exhibits,” said Angela Cassie, a spokesperson for the museum.
Cassie said the museum will use the word when they discuss the aboriginal community’s current fight to get recognition for the term.
“It is not necessarily an official definition at this time,” she said. “Our objective of the museum is to inspire discussion and dialogue, and using Indian residential schools as an entry point is extremely important.”
Robert Falcon Ouellette doesn’t think the term will become official any time soon. Falcon Ouellette runs Aboriginal Focus Programs at the University of Manitoba.
“I don’t think the Canadian public is ready to hear that message, and I don’t think the Canadian government could be promoting that in their own museum,” he said Friday.
Falcon Ouellette said the term genocide conjures up images Canadians don’t typically associate with their country.
“Canadians, they believe we go over to other countries in order to stop these genocides from happening. We go over to Rwanda and Bosnia and Europe during the Second World War in order to stop the Holocaust,” he said. “So here we are, perhaps, learning that we committed a genocide.”
He continued, “If you hear the word genocide, it hits your imagination. It hits something visual in the cortex in your brain and what it conjures up is, you know, mass killings. It conjures up mass graves. It conjures up children being gassed in gas chambers.”
Cassie said the museum’s job is to inspire reflections and dialogue like Kelly and Falcon Oullette’s, before and after the museum opens it doors.

What is or is not genocide is a matter of facts on the ground and law. the 1948 UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, ratified by Canada in 1953 and thus part of the “Supreme Law of Canada” as a treaty, defines genocide under Article II: a) Killing members of a group; b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; c) Deliberately inflicting upon the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its destruction in whole or in part; d) Imposing measures to prevent births among the group (sterilization); e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group (Residential Schools) The Nazis and Hitler himself cited the 1933 British Columbia “Race Hygiene Law” and the 1928 Alberta Sterilization Act, along with the sterilization laws of 27 U.S. States as their inspiration for their own 1933 “Race Hygiene Law” and the 1935 Nuremberg Laws.
Not calling genocide what it is is also part of genocide and its cover-up also a crime under the 1948 UN Convention. At the Center For Holocaust and Genocide studies there is more than enough documentation of the reality–past and present–of genocide against Indigenous Peoples in Canada and the U.S.

Government paper warns of risks of apologizing for residential schools WENDY COX July 27, 1998 from Ottawa Citizen
OTTAWA (CP) – Government officials were urged two years ago to provide a compensation package to aboriginal people who suffered in residential schools as an attempt to control the potentially explosive costs of lawsuits, an internal document shows. The report, stamped Secret and obtained by The Canadian Press, compares the pros and cons of forcing claimants to go to court with offering financial redress to victims. It concludes that in the long run, compensation would be cheaper.
“The number of individual claims as well as any negative implications for the federal government in defending such actions (lawsuits) would likely be minimized if a government policy, including some form of redress package, were adapted,” says the 20-page report. The document also warns against using the word “apology,” preferring instead “an acknowledgment or expression of regret.” “It could be worded in such a fashion so as to not lay blame on anyone.”
Government officials confirmed the report, which is titled simply Residential Schools Discussion Paper, was written in late 1995 or early 1996 for Ron Irwin, then the minister of Indian Affairs. It may also have been prepared for the Justice Department.

Final comment here: ANY, not ALL of the acts listed under Article II of the 1948 UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide, ratified by Canada in 1953 (and still not fully ratified by U.S.) constitute Genocide. Under the Constitution of Canada and that of the U.S. any Treaty becomes part of the Supreme Law of the Land (Supremacy Clauses part of Canons of Treaty Construction otherwise nations could selectively invoke or reject parts of treaties under “sovereignty claims” while also benefiting from the parts they like). No need to cover-up what is clean only what is dirty. No need for euphemisms when definitions and realities are clear.
Genocide, when covered-up with euphemisms, sophistry or the like results in more genocide that is why cover-up is also a crime under Article III. INDIANS AND PALESTINIANS VS INDIANS AND ZIONISTS
For some of the same reasons Indians feel for oppressed Jews and other groups who suffered past and present from genocidal programs and settlements “inspired” by the American and Canadian genocides against Indians, so it is that Indians have every reason to feel kinship and solidarity with Palestinians sometimes referred to by some Indians, respectfully always as “Palestin[d]ians” meaning Indians are the Palestinians of the Americas and Palestinians are the Indians of the Middle East:

The subject is the mass irradiation of hundreds of thousands of young Israeli immigrants from Middle Eastern countries — Sephardim, as they are called today. The story goes like this:

In 1951, the director general of the Israeli Health Ministry, Dr. Chaim Sheba, flew to America and returned with seven x-ray machines, supplied to him by the American army.

They were to be used in a mass atomic experiment with an entire generation of Sephardi youths to be used as guinea pigs. Every Sephardi child was to be given 35,000 times the maximum dose of x-rays through his head. For doing so, the American government paid the Israeli government 300 million Israeli liras a year. The entire Health budget was 60 million liras. The money paid by the Americans is equivalent to billions of dollars today.

To fool the parents of the victims, the children were taken away on “school trips” and their parents were later told the x-rays were a treatment for the scourge of scalpal ringworm. 6,000 of the children died shortly after their doses were given, while many of the rest developed cancers that killed thousands over time and are still killing them now. While living, the victims suffered from disorders such as epilepsy, amnesia, Alzheimer’s disease, chronic headaches and psychosis.

In which language should one speak to be understood? On January 27, 2013, Israel formally admitted having injected Ethiopian-Jewish women with venom against their will, so that they won’t get pregnant. Israel brought them to Israel in a propaganda-program aimed at showing the world that Jews are not racists, and then applied Nazi techniques to ensure that they won’t reproduce.
Several years ago, I published Israel’s Eugenics Program: Dr. Mengele Blues, which describes the frightening “Dor Yeshorim” (roughly “Straightening Generation”) Israeli eugenics program, who seeks to destroy embryos who do not fit the Zionist dream. Not surprisingly, the program originates directly in the work of Dr Epstein, a Jewish aide of Nazi Dr Mengele (see The Nazi Doctors: Medical Killing And The Psychology Of Genocide).
Dr. Josef Mengele was a German SS officer and a physician in the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau, where he supervised the selection of arriving prisoners. He continued his research on heredity in that camp, especially in the field of identical twins. Less prominent in Israeli textbooks is the fact that he recruited a Czech named Berthold Epstein, a Jewish pediatrician to help him.
The latter fully cooperated in non-consensual experiments on humans carried out in the camp. “Cooperated” is not the exact word to define his crimes. He proactively “proposed research on the treatment of noma” (page 296 in the linked book) and led non-consensual research on humans. Quietly, this became the basis for the Israeli “Dor Yeshorim” program, a clear example of that state crimes against humanity.
HOLOCAUST DESECRATION
The ultimate in desecration of the memories of the victims of the Nazi and other Holocausts is to do and promote exactly what the Nazis did even under the banners of “Holocaust Remembrance”, “Never Again” and “national Security”. This is also a desecration of the memory of all those Jews who gave their lives and bodies in struggles for human rights including and even especially of non-Jews. They were acting as Jews driven by the notion that “social justice is the primary mandate of Judaism”. The case of murdered civil rights workers James Earl Chaney, Andrew Goodman and Michael Schwerner in Mississippi is but one example of many Jews who put their lives, careers and bodies on the line for the struggle for justice for non-Jews.
That is why we cannot understand how victims of the Nazis and their ancestors could act so much like Nazis in their treatment of Palestinians and other Peoples as well as reveal a long history of collaboration with anti-Semitism and even wanted Nazi war criminals like Walter Rauff and Otto Skorzeny.
And it is an interesting historical footnote, that among the first Christian Zionists [the genocidal maniac known as Columbus was also a Christian Zionist; also of interest is that most Christian Zionists are right-wing proto-fascist anti-Semites and believe that Jews will go to hell after the “Rapture” they believe will not occur until “the Jews ‘return’ to Zion” which is why they use them], the Pilgrims in 1620, who were more theo-fascist persecutors than persecuted, like present-day Zionists, they had the exact same saying as the present-day Zionists:
“A land with no people for a People with no land”.
This is as if the Indigenous Peoples of the Americas or Palestine were either not people, or not people whose humanity was worth considering, or that those coming and occupying had no alternative lands from which they came that they could stay in and build something where they came from and/or resist the evils terrorizing them.
The crimes being committed by the US in Iraq and Afghanistan (preemptive and aggressive wars founded on lies, phony intelligence and contrived pretexts) and elsewhere, along with the crimes being committed by the State of Israel and its supporters (also with lies, phony intelligence and contrived pretexts) are the exact same crimes for which Nazis were tried and properly hanged for at Nuremberg.

Most Indians and Palestinians I know do not have an ounce of “anti-Semitism” in the sense of hating all Jews and Judaism; and anti-Zionism, while sometimes used as a cover for classical or more modern forms of anti-Semitism, actually it is the Zionists who have historically had few problems and often “mutuality of interests” with Nazis, anti-Semites and the like:

Occupation is Violence
Just the acts and process of occupation by invading forces often calling themselves “Settlers” [as if one can simply “settle” wherever one feels even if there indigenous people already “settled” there] is pure violence. We hear people say this is “violence in reaction to occupation” as if occupation itself, and all that is intended and clearly intended by the occupiers, is not violence per se and thus resistance to occupation defensive not offensive violence.
Much of the violence of the Intifada and Palestinian Resistance, is of the same order, and has the same moral legitimacy, as the uprising of the Jews of the Warsaw Ghetto against Nazi Occupiers. They were labeled “terrorists” and “Bandits” by the Nazis and the Germans brought in to take their possessions and occupy their homes and land were called “Settlers” by the Nazis. Only a moral eunuch could possibly see the violence of the occupied oppressed resisting illegal occupation and total extermination as on the same level as the violence of the illegally occupying oppressor seeking to do the exterminating. And indeed the Nazis called the Warsaw Uprising “terrorism” and called their programs “counter-terrorism.”
Or, to put it another way: Say a woman is at her home and a rapist attacks; say she is armed; say she shoots at the attacking rapist and misses and the bullet hits a child across the street. The moral culpability still rests with the rapist not the intended rape victim. The Palestinians are in the position of the rape victim and the Zionists are the rapist.
Wannsee Conference [and its parallels]: “All our actions must be predicated on law.”
At the infamous Wannsee Conference on January 20, 1942, of the 15 high-level Nazis that met to authorize and plan “The Final Solution to the Jewish Problem”, 8 of them held doctorates and 11 of them were lawyers. They were not there only to plan the mechanics and logistics of genocide, they were there to provide a legal rationale for genocide and indeed discuss methods to make genocide look like self-defense of the Reich and even gain mass acceptance–and culpability–for it; they were there to dress up in legal refinements, the ugliest of the ugly.
This is precisely what the Zionists (Jewish and non-Jewish) are doing and what the righteous (Jewish and non-Jewish) are resisting and must resist.
But genocide, just like war crimes and nations are not a matter of mere opinion but a matter of law and facts on the ground. No need to hide from debate if sure of one’s case, evidence and argument. No need to cover-up what is clean only what is dirty. No need for lies and repression against dissidents if one’s case and legal standing is clean only if it is dirty. No need to deny due process to the guilty as their clear guilt, facts on the ground and law should convict them; only need to frame and deny due process to the innocent. No need for jury and judge shopping, jury consultants, procedural games, obstruction of justice if one’s case is clear and clean; only when one’s case is shaky.
