A Message to Visitors:

We do not believe that just because someone chooses to visit us here that we have any right to bother them with any form of unsolicited information or promotions; we have no right to invade anyone’s privacy and than means for us, not even trying to trace identities of those who visit; and we do not, as a matter of honor; and not wanting the same done to us. We do not even ask to register to visit the site. Ideas, knowledge, data, data sources, in the public realm, however they got there, once there, belong to all.

We have people from various nations that for some reason are still able to link to us, but they cannot link to some other sites we link to. thus we have a large archives of documents, studies, manuals, etc, all in the public realm long before we found them; but we had some experience with where and how to look as well as how to read the documents in historical context as well as in Pentagonese and CIAese. This some of the primary source documents they can link to here.

That is why we do not tolerate attempts to hack, prowl or wreck, when all we are trying to do is present what we believe to be some critical “dots” and connections between them, covering a global and very dynamic, increasingly unstable and volatile mosaic. We do not want to entrap anyone, so we give more than fair warning. Obviously our means are our own, but we can tell who is here to read and who is looking elsewhere they would not appreciate our going to in their systems–and we would never; that is why it is an unfair fight. But we do not care from where, if we have reason to believe they are not here to read, then this is not the place to be.

Total Banned Sites 986 to-date–14 Banned IPs to go (Please do not force us to publish the list in case others are having to suffer from some of the same apparent intrigue that we have to suffer to protect the readership; when we hit 1000, the list of offending IP addresses gets published in case other innocents are also their targets). Why, since we obviously want people to visit and consider the information here,  would we ban certain sites, from various nations with no discrimination as to which one, if we were not very serious about what we do and have some capabilities to determine who is trying to stop us with means other than debate, reason, evidence and law?

We presumably are putting out something of value and use from the visitor numbers we get and from where they come. If we have to ban anyone, we do not know or care who it is or from what country; it is without fear or favor here–it must be.

Who is it that fears or suppresses certain ideas or paradigms? Who is it that attempts to plant ideas and paradigms covertly (source hidden) as well as clandestinely (action hidden)? For what motives? In whose interests? Are not wrong ideas founded on lies, bad logic and experience not exposed under the weight of their own contradictions? Are false stories not eventually exposed with facts, leaked documents, insiders with consciences and the like? Who is it who tries to silence or intimidate ideas and paradigms, and those trying to expose and debate them, and needs to do so in clandestine and covert ways?

If we have been unfair to anyone, we want to redress any mistakes, but we have all seen lists like this one wrecked; we know the trade-craft; we know the types of interests and groups–private or public–likely behind it. And this kind of stuff is meant also to intimidate as well; what Jeremy Bentham called his “Panopticon Effect” where those being seen do not know how many and who are watching and when, thus a deterrent and dampening effect on public curiosity and speech.

Thank you for your understanding and please accept our sincere apologies if we have misjudged the activities and possible intentions  of someone visiting here.

There are times when you have to obey a call which is the highest of all, i.e. the voice of conscience even though such obedience may cost many a bitter tear, and even more, separation from friends, from family, from the state, to which you may belong, from all that you have held as dear as life itself. For this obedience is the law of our being. ~ Mahatma Gandhi

بولو (Speak)

(Translated from Urdu in “The Reluctant Fundamentalist” a film by Mira Nair)

When your dreams all turn
heavy as stone,
Say what you have to say.
Your history holds you
tight as bone,
Say what you have to say.

In a silence so strong
that it makes you its own,
Stand up!, Speak out!
Let the crows call,
Let the stones fall,
Say what you have to say.

And when those rocks crack
when the chains snap,
let the words come,
from within,
from within.

If they come to restrain you,
come to ball-and-chains you,
let the words flow
from your lips;
speak your truth now,
it’s the only way out.
You can be,
what you can be.
Say what you have to say.

Worn ragged,
and you’re rattling inside,
Say what you have to say.
And so alive,
you can no longer hide,
Say what you have to say.

Abandon the fear,
and you bring back
your pride.
Stand Up! Speak out!
Let the crows call,
let the stones fall,
Say what you have to say.

You speak your truth now,
it’s the only way out.
To let the words flow
out of you.
Stand up! Speak out!
Speak out!
Speak out!

APOLITICAL INTELLECTUALS BY OTTO RENE CASTILLO

Otto Rene Castillo

Apolitical Intellectuals

One day
the apolitical
intellectuals
of my country
will be interrogated
by the simplest
of our people.

They will be asked
what they did
when their nation died out
slowly,
like a sweet fire
small and alone.

No one will ask them
about their dress,
their long siestas
after lunch,
no one will want to know
about their sterile combats
with “the idea
of the nothing”
no one will care about
their higher financial learning.

They won’t be questioned
on Greek mythology,
or regarding their self-disgust
when someone within them
begins to die
the coward’s death.

They’ll be asked nothing
about their absurd
justifications,
born in the shadow
of the total lie.

On that day
the simple men will come.
Those who had no place
in the books and poems
of the apolitical intellectuals,
but daily delivered
their bread and milk,
their tortillas and eggs,
those who drove their cars,
who cared for their dogs and gardens
and worked for them,
and they’ll ask:

“What did you do when the poor
suffered, when tenderness
and life
burned out of them?”

Apolitical intellectuals
of my sweet country,
you will not be able to answer.

A vulture of silence
will eat your gut.

Your own misery
will pick at your soul.

And you will be mute in your shame.

“All men [people] must die, but death can vary in its significance. The Ancient Chinese writer Szuma Chien said,  ‘Though death befalls all men [people] alike, it may be weightier than Mount Tai or lighter than a feather. To die for the people is heavier than Mount Tai, but to work for the fascists and die for the exploiters and oppressors is lighter than a feather. ”

Here’s How The U.S. Sparked A Refugee Crisis On The Border, In 8 Simple Steps

Posted: Updated:

UNACCOMPANIED MINORS

The 57,000 children from Central America who have streamed across the U.S.-Mexico border this year were driven in large part by the United States itself. While Democrats and Republicans have been pointing fingers at each other, in reality the current wave of migration from El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras has its roots in six decades of U.S. policies carried out by members of both parties.

Since the 1950s, the U.S. has sown violence and instability in Central America. Decades of Cold War gamesmanship, together with the relentless global war on drugs, have left a legacy of chaos and brutality in these countries. In many parts of the region, civil society has given way to lawlessness. It’s these conditions the children are escaping.

    1954: US Overthrows Arbenz

The story of the U.S.-led destabilization of Central America began in 1954, with the overthrow of the elected Guatemalan government of President Jacobo Arbenz. A populist leader inspired by President Franklin Roosevelt’s “New Deal,” Arbenz had plans for an ambitious land redistribution program that aimed to help a nation composed largely of landless farmers.

But those plans butted against the interests of the United Fruit Company, a U.S. corporation that owned much of Guatemala’s arable land, along with railroad infrastructure and a port. The CIA helped engineer the overthrow of the Arbenz government, laying the foundation for decades of government instability and, eventually, a civil war that would claim more than 200,000 lives by the 1980s. That war wasn’t fully resolved until the 1990s.

“Our involvement in Central America has not been a very positive one over the last 60 years,” Rep. Beto O’Rourke, a Democrat from El Paso, Texas, told The Huffington Post. “You can go back to the coup that overthrew Jacobo Arbenz in 1954, fully backed by the Eisenhower administration and the Dulles brothers, who had an interest in the United Fruit company, whose fight with the government really precipitated the crisis that led to the coup.”

It set a pattern. “You look at the decades following that, and the military strongmen, and the juntas, and the mass killings, and it’s no wonder Guatemala is in such terrible shape today,” O’Rourke said.
